Posted by Johnnie on 6/11/2013 to Easy Beading Projects

Our special father's day edition easy beading project brings us a rugged leather bracelet.  We've incorporated a para-cord style wrap on to 4.5mm leather, and finished the whole thing off with a halo clasp.

Materials Needed for this Project

  • 24" of 4.5 mm leather
  • 3 yards of 1.5mm leather
  • 1 Halo Clasp

Tools Needed for this Project

  • Super New Glue
  • Leather Cutter
  • Nippers

Instructions

Fold your 4.5mm leather in half and put it through the halo clasp

Clip it under the clipboard and at the bottom to secure it in place

Take you 1.5mm leather under your 4.5mm leather and even it out on each side
-Take your right 1.5mm over your 2 center 4.5mm pieces and under your left 1.5mm

-Take your left 1.5mm under your center 4.5mm pieces and up through

PULL TIGHT

-Take your left 1.5mm over your 2 center 4.5mm pieces and under your right 1.5mm

-Take your right 1.5mm under your center 4.5mm pieces and up through

Continue knotting

Determine your size

Cut when sizing is correct

Put 3 drops of glue into the clasp then put your 4.5mm leather into it and hold to dry

Glue both sides where your 1.5mm knots ends

Now nip off your excess 1.5mm leather and you are finished
