2020 Christmas Creation Kit Unpack the acrylic and wood pieces and set aside the bags. Remove the protective coating from all the acrylic and wood pieces, front and back. See photos 1-3. Lay out your findings. Photo 4. Load the headpins with crystals/paves, from the top going down. You will be wrapping on the bottom. See photo 5 for reference/pattern. Complete the wraps at the bottom of each piece, leaving as little space as you can. Photos 6-7. Nip the excess wire off. Photo 8. Using the handle of one of your tools, bend the wrap down to flatten the piece. Photos 9-10. If the wraps are pushed down flush, the pieces will sit straight on their induvial acrylic bases. Test ALL pieces on their acrylic base BEFORE you begin gluing, to ensure the pieces sit straight. Photo 11. Ready to Glue – You will need those bags now. Place a pea size amount of E6000 on the largest bag you have. Photo 12. Using the toothpicks provided, place a small amount of E6000 on the wood base and attach your north pole sign into the top. Make sure the pole does not stick out the bottom of the base. Set the sign aside to dry. Photos 13-14. Using a tiny dot of E6000, glue on Rudolph’s red nose and set him aside to dry. Photo 15-16. *Refer to the completed Christmas Creation photo to match acrylic bases to each piece. When gluing crystal/pave pieces, use a generous amount of E6000 along the bottom of each piece and attach to designated base. Set each piece aside to dry as you go. Photos 17-18. Apply a dime size amount of E6000 to the clear round base and attach the sparkly round base on top. Push down firmly to adhere but maintain a thin edge all the way around. **E6000 will begin to harden quickly, so add another pea sized amount to your bag as needed. Once all the pieces have dried for 10-20 minutes, you can arrange them on the dried round base and glue them in place. ***All E6000 should dry for 24 hours to fully cure. You will need round nose jewelry pliers, round nose tweezers, and a pair of nippers. Enjoy! | ![]() |
