To qualify that statement - it is excellent for my purposes. If you are doing a tapestry by beadweaving (specifically, peyote stitch) that is going to be somewhat heavy (20 x 16) this is the perfect thread. It is durable, doesn't need waxing, much less subject to splitting and fraying and tough enough to stand up to the handling in process and weight of finished piece. It is a little more expensive than Nymo but pretty comparable to the fancy Japanese threads. I wouldn't use this for small pieces of jewelry - could be too stiff and too bulky for non-delica type beads. It would be difficult to make multiple passes through a size 12 or 15 bead. But again, for my purposes it is perfect and the price here can't be beat.
